Text Box: Kimberlea Smarr is a 200 hour ,RYT, Yoga Alliance certified instructor.  She trained in 2008 in Rishikesh, India at the foothills of the Himalayas.  During this study she also received a certificate in Indian Culture and Philosophy.  
Kimberlea has brought yoga to the Johnstown/Miliken area and sees herself as a community servant.  She is introducing people to this lifestyle that not only brings health benefits, but stress relief and life skills.  So little time is spent in our society to link breath, movement, and mental control that yoga provides.
Her philosophy is “yoga is for everyone.”   Anyone can do yoga—no matter your age, whether you are a couch potato or a professional athlete.  Age and fitness level do not matter because there are modifications for every pose.  The idea is to explore your personal edge not strive for some pretzel-like perfection.
 The class structure will always leave room for those that are new to yoga.  She would also like to dispel the myth that you have to be flexible to do yoga.  There are many forms and levels of yoga from restorative hatha to advanced ashtanga vinyasa.  There is a place for everyone here.
